To provide professional instruction and maintain accurate business records, we collect the following personal information: Student Name (to identify the learner and track progress), Phone Number (for scheduling, emergency contact, communication regarding lessons, and billing/invoicing), and Date of Birth (collected strictly for administrative records).
2. Use of Your Information
The information collected is used solely for managing lesson schedules and attendance, processing payments and billing, ensuring the safety and well-being of students during aquatic activities, and communicating important service updates or emergency notifications.
3. Secure Payment Handling
Payments for our lessons occur through official mobile payment such as PayNow and PayLah. MK SwimPlayz Aquatic does not collect or store any of your financial information unless payment through bank transfer is requested.Â
4. Photos and Media Publicity
Occasionally, we take photos or videos during lessons or events for our website and social media platforms to showcase student progress. No media featuring an identifiable student will be posted publicly without prior explicit permission from a parent or legal guardian. You may withdraw your consent for media usage at any time by contacting us in writing.
5. Data Security
In compliance with the PDPA, we take reasonable steps to protect your personal data from unauthorised access. We only retain your information for as long as it is needed to provide our swimming coaching services or to meet our essential business record-keeping requirements. Information is only accessible by authorised personnel, and we do not sell or trade your information.
6. Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal data. Aside from the platforms used for our publicity (with your consent), your data is only shared when necessary for class operations or if required by Singapore law. These providers are only given the information necessary to perform their specific functions and are required to maintain the confidentiality of your data.
